WordPress or Blogger?

As some of you might have noticed I have two blogs running under the same title “GroomAndBloom” :
http://www.groomandbloom.wordpress.com
http://www.groomandbloom.blogspot.com
Both of these have similar posts and I assure you none is fake – I own and write for both of these =)
The reason I’m using these 2 blogging platforms is:
1) I’m new to blogosphere so I don’t know yet which one will suit me more
2) I know there are many articles regarding “WordPress vs. Blogger” argument and their final verdict but I want it to be ME to decide which one is better… and I can only do that using both these platforms to familiarize myself.
Feel free to follow me on both though. I might shift to new content on one of these in near future =D

Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh - A friend for your dryness distress!

Heat is still on the roll but that doesn't mean your skin doesn't require moisturization at all during summers. Specially after taking bath, your skin needs to be restored with essential moisture that has been stripped away by shower gels, soaps and scrubs. Or else dryness and itchiness can get so bad that it would almost feel like tiny bugs nipping you all over! And don't forget about those rough cracked heels too which can be bothersome with every slightest touch of any fabric on them.. Ughh!!!

To be honest, I haven't been much happy with most of the moisturizers I have used until I bought Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh. It is AWESOME. Other moisturizers feel weighted and sticky on my skin.. I SO hate that! So eventually I feel compelled to wash it off. Even some of those which claim to be light on skin, are not so light on my feet as they soon remind me I have applied 'something greasy' that will be there forever and annoy me until I wash it off.

But Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh is true to its words. It's so light that it immediately gets absorbed after rubbing onto skin and Voila! "Did I even apply anything there" I wonder. Ofcourse, the main purpose of providing hydration and nourishment to skin is also observed as skin feels silky, soft and supple. Their innovative Stratys-3 complex infusion permeates and disperses hydration throughout all the layers of skin.

Now, the reason I picked Aloe Fresh out of the range is cz anything with Aloe extract or Aloe Vera itself is great for skin. Aloe heals, soothes and nourishes many problematic skin conditions like eczema. It treats sunburns and is a great moisturizer. I have been happily using it even as a base on my face sometime when the weather is too dry to avoid dry patches build-up. And Yes! Thankgod, I can even use it for my dry heels without it feeling greasy. Who needs a separate foot cream when your body moisturizer does the work?

Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh certainly is my friend and will be throughout the year. What about you? Which moisturizer do YOU find non-greasy?

Clearasil Ultra Daily Face Wash – Does it Do as it Says?

If your skin type is normal to oily, and if your skin is prone to acne and blemishes.. then Clearasil Ultra Daily Face Wash should definitely make some space on your top-shelf.

Believe me, I understand your pain as I’m the victim of the same problem and I know how tough it is to delimit further breakouts. But with a good diet, lifestyle and a good skin-care product, it is NOT impossible.
I always go for a facewash that has Salicylic Acid as one of its ingredients because it kills bacteria and thus treats and prevents many skin-related problems like acne. And that is what caught my attention before purchasing Clearasil Ultra Daily Face Wash apart from its glossy packaging.
Unlike many oil-control blemish-fighting face washes, this one did not strip essential moisture off my face which makes it best for the daily use without going harsh on my skin. The consistency is of a foamy cream and a small pea-size dollop is enough for one use.
As claimed, it definitely did make my skin feel fresh and revived, and also immediately after rinsing, it left a slight tingling sensation on my face (the soothing COOL tingling) so I’m guessing that’s the part where they said “Works fast to open blocked pores” does the job. Can’t really say if the part “Visibly clearer skin in as little as 12 hours” worked for me but my skin definitely does not feel sticky or oily for hours after use.
This 150 ml tube costed me SR 26.50 which is bit expensive but not as much as few other brands containing Salicylic Acid and if your consumption is like me (pea-size dollop per use) then a tube will easily last you for 3 months!
Overall, I’m very content with this product and it has my recommendation! But I would also like to hear your experience if you tried it. =)

Howdy!

This is my first blog posting and I’m super excited to share my views and reviews on various stuff. :D

Please excuse any verbal or grammatical error as English is not my native language but ironically I feel more comfortable communicating in English than my mother-tongue Urdu. Also, my style of writing is carefree, so don’t diss me for using slangs now and then. Heh!
Speaking of Urdu, some of you might have guessed that I’m from Pakistan, but as I have spent most of my life in Saudi Arabia, I’m aware of the products and brands available in both of the countries.
My aim is to make your pre-purchase decision making easier, particularly of beauty products and of course, share my personal experience and analysis as a consumer.
So looks like it’s all set and I’m good to go! =)
Wish me Luck!
